Is this thing on?

Yeah, so my name is Ang, and apparently I have a blog... which involves me actually sitting down and writing at some point and time! Let's just pretend that I get an A for effort. It's been a crazy week and a half 3 1/2 weeks around mi casa. I don't even know where to start, so to make me feel more in control, here's a list.

* Computer totally crashed and burned, not once but twice now! Not a happy girl. Lucky hubs is bored out of his mind and I found the system disks.

* Hubs back is still way out of wack. Let's do the math here ladies 8 percocets daily x 27 days= a whole heck of a lot of pain meds. Hubs doesn't do pain med well... but if he doesn't take it he can't move. Today the DR tells us that he's killing his stomach, liver, and kidney's (how the heck do you pluralize that?!?)....hello captain obvious, but yet your nurse basically yells at me when I let her know that he skips doses every now and then, just to see if he can 'handle the pain'.... let's quit putting a band-aid over the problem, and just fix it.

* Calling a lawyer tomarrow. BWC doesn't want to cover any treatment for herniated disc... they think it's a pre-existing condition. grrr. Also scheduling apt. w/ surgeon for consult.

* Finding "presents" of the liquid variety in odd places.

* Have unburied my house, atleast the 1st floor! Now, to tackle my bedroom before donation day Thursday. Only having one closet in the house stinks.

* Counting down days till vacation...14... which I didn't know that I had any coming to me. Suprise, Suprise, Suprise. Use 'em or Loose 'em. Aye Aye captian.

* It snowed today!!! Bring it on. Plus hot chocolate.

* Miracle of all miracles, I have sucessfully kept a balanced checkbook for 5 days. I've avoided shut-down mode.

* Have made paper chains, attended parades, saw Santa, practiced w/ our youth for their 1st play, drank countless cups of hot cocoa, read the Christmas story to Mikey many times, and watched countless Christmas cartoons.

When I feel overwhelmed, I go into shut-down mode, hence my dissapearing from la la land. Now that I've done my list I feel more in control, not so overwhelmed, and I can now comence w/ my blog w/o feeling like a total failure at it.

Ang, I hope things get better soon! Maybe the time off from work and the holidays will help!

Sounds like a vay-cay is just what you need!
I would definately fight for financial help for your hubby. That would be hard.
